From 22 till 30 October, the 15th edition of Dutch Design Week takes place in the city of Eindhoven. Spread over 9 days, the largest design event of Northern Europe presents processes, experiments and ideas, answers and solutions of roughly around 2500 designers. Taking on more than 100 locations throughout the entire city, DDW provides not only expositions, but also lectures, awards, network meetings and festivities.
DDW can distinguishes itself from other design events by concentrating on designs for the future. Though all possible disciplines and aspects of design get the attention they need during the event, the focus lies on experiments, innovations and cross-overs. Every year, special attention goes to the work and development of young talent.
But there’s more than design: DDW Music brings dozens of buzz-worthy up-and-comers to Eindhoven. From danceable electro to visceral punk, all the way up to Belgian hip-hop, the lineup offers something for everyone. Who knows — you might just discover your new favorite artist. Check out the line-up here.
