Lo-fi wonder kid Tim Presley rides a nostalgic wave back to California in the psychedelic sixties on his latest release. After releasing Hair together with Ty Segall in 2012, For The Recently Found Innocent pushes White Fence’s four-track recorder bedroom sound we know and love to something just a little more polished, but don’t worry: there’s still enough tape static to keep you happy. The easygoing garage-pop tunes make any dull winter day feel instantly summery sweet and upbeat. We can’t help but sing along to ‘Like That’ and neither will you.
