FIBER Festival, CTM Festival, in:resonance, 4DSOUND, Ambrio, SOL systems and Loods6 present Currents – Experiments & Performances in Spatial Sound
Futures of Listening comes to ADE with Currents, a four-day programme of experiments and performances in spatial sound, held at Loods6. Across three evenings of live and DJ sets, two days of workshops and demos, and a closing spatial sound meetup, artists work with changing sound system configurations to shape a new listening experience each night.
Three types of sound systems – 4DSOUND, in:resonance, and SOL Systems – gather to create different listening settings, from ambient and delicate soundscapes to dynamic DJ sets and live performances.
Expect a range of listening situations: sit, lie down and walk through the space while performances take place at various points along the long corridor.

Spatial live and DJ sets
An experimental night of DJ and live sets on the brand new Ambrio Spatial DJ mixer, curated and presented with Berlin based CTM Festival and Sol Systems.
This second evening spans a wider range, from delicate and atmospheric to dense and textural. Wata Igarashi (DJ) brings shimmering, psychedelic techno, crystalline structures rising into something cosmic. OK EG (Live), known for masterful sound design and meticulous arrangements, will perform parts of their 2025 album, Silent Green, diving into deep and psychedelic terrains. Nadia Struiwigh (Hybrid Live) performs live from hardware, shaping sound through intuition and texture. Zohar (DJ) works cutting-edge, percussive club sonics with a razor-sharp, highly dynamic signature, rattling low-end and rhythmic tension the common thread. State OFFF (DJ) closes with a spatial gqom set, transmuting Durban’s minimalist sound into steel beams on concrete.
Presented by Futures of Listening, CTM Festival and AMBRIO Sound, in collaboration with SOL Systems.
