After two successful albums, a vibrant EP with Victor De Roo, and an eccentric record with comforter2, Ricky Cherim finally returns with new music as Meetsysteem. In 2025, he will embark on a tour with the intimate solo show “Waar ontmoet jij de maan?” While he previously performed mainly with a band, this time you’ll hear Meetsysteem in its purest form—just as the music is created.

Bassist lishes debuts minimalist soundscapes at once technically confident and intimately remote. Made over a period of several months, these instrumentals slide between murky reverb and sweeping ambience, hollowing out the space and filling it with a glowing fog.
