SOW at IJzerstaven presents: Adrián de Alfonso

15 June - Salon de IJzerstaven, Amsterdam
18:00 - 12.50€

SOW live at Ijzerstaven presents: Adrián de Alfonso.

Berlin-based Adrián de Alfonso is a Spanish musician whose performances transfigure sources such as flamenco, copla, bolero, tango or sardana through unhinged sampling/midi techniques, stripped-down chanting, musique concrète outbursts and outlandish operatic procedures. At de Ijzerstaven, Adrián will present a semi-installative, interactive performance for FM transmitters, radios and voice.  He has released records on Maple Death, Crammed Discs, Cafe OTO’s Takuroku, Young Turks and others.

Note: Most of the music played during this performance will be spread via FM transmission, so attendees are encouraged to bring their own little FM radios (if they feel like it and have any) to have a more playful and richer diffusion.

The people at SOW have kindly offered a limited amount of free tickets for Subbacultcha members. Please make a reservation by sending an email to mailinglist@subbacultcha.nl with ‘Adrian de Alfonso’ in the subject line + your name in the email.
