Brain melting electronic flips and sugary sweet pop mashed up with industrial noise – PYXLS collective is brewing up an especially digital night for all the PC music lovers. Come ready to dance, log off, and escape into pixelated resolutions and sonic cyber bliss. PYXLS explores and amplifies hyperpop inside the bold, dynamic and fast-paced Dutch electronic music scene, inspired by the PC music scene’s artist such as widely beloved Sophie (r.i.p.), pop queen Charli XCX and Amsterdam’s own LYZZA.
Hannah Diamond
Hyperpop princess headlines the night and will grace the stage of Parallel with an ethereal and futuristic DJ set, full of glossy synths, bubblegum bass, and high pitched vocals. Hannah has been shaping pop perfection since 2013 as a founding artist in the PC Music collective. She paints a perfect picture exploring the surreal relationship between human beings, their bedrooms, and the simultaneously organic and synthetic world.
Himera
DJ & electronic musician Himera creates preciously chirpy electropop, embracing vocal loops, paddy textures, and cinematic waves.
KEY/GEN (live)
A hard hitting electronic duo, their style is genreless, fuses core sounds, and lets the rhythm do the rest of the talking.
stnvndijk*
Electronic artist stnvndijk* brings in a different resolution to the scene, melding melodic glitch, deconstructed club, and digital streams along the way.
The people at Parallel have kindly offered a limited amount of free tickets for Subbacultcha members. Please make a reservation by sending an email to mailinglist@subbacultcha.nl with ‘PYXLS’ in the subject line + your name in the email.
