Toilet time comes to Garage Noord, as BIG TOILET RADIO brings their PLOP series to the club’s revered doorsteps.

echo+seashell 

echo+seashell is a duo consisting of artists Henna Hyvarinen (FI) and Susan Kooi (NL) which has existed in the underground music and art scene based in Amsterdam and Helsinki since 2011. Their collaboration consists of live music performances alongside videos and exhibitions. echo+seashell created a niche of their own that is familiar and alien at the same time. The lyrics and the unsensual stage presence of the duo form the core, the ‘baby soul’ of echo + seashell. Varying in style and genre, their music is often produced in collaboration with different musicians, such as Islaja and Torus.

Foon

As a duo, Foon initiate musical compositions from simple repetition-based structures that gradually build up, incorporating different layers to create intricate sound sculptures. The interactivity between saxophone sounds and the electronic world achieves a delicate balance, transitioning from familiar, traditional melodies to the innovative sculpting of sound.

Spa.LTD 

SpaLtd is a collaborative project between Cartopol and Opus Occvltiis, the two artists behind Anekumena Tapes. The duo crafts dense intense drones and sparse polyrhythmic structures out of raw electrical signals, using feedback loops within feedback loops to construct monoliths in sound.

Derozan is known for his virtuosic, non-linear, cinematic storytelling mixing style. Seamlessly navigating genres in his fluid, quicksand mixing approach, while consciously incorporating non-Western scenes, his sounds resonate in both club and listening settings, as well as on his radio shows Global Dance Suspense and Swallowtail Town.
