“What I wouldn’t give for 14 more days, 14 more days of happiness”. A lyric from Reckonwrong’s latest project, written as he “decompressed from an episode of deep prang”. Alex makes catchy and progressive pop-tunes, leaning towards the more experimental side of the genre – sung with a huge amount of swagger. Hazy and rhythmic, Mich Cota aims to challenge convention with her art. Her debut album, Kijà / Care, is an exploration of the trauma that she’s endured from being both indigenous and trans—but also a triumphant statement against societal expectations.
