Domenic Palermo used to be the brain behind hardcore act Horror Show, but when that was put on hold after a two-year prison sentence, it took him a while to find his way back to music. But he got back on his feet. Nothing started out as a solo project, resulting from Palermo staying indoors all the time, creating an online demo with a hundred cassettes that sold extremely quickly. After going through countless members, Palermo and his new-found band mates released the critically acclaimed LP Guilty of Everything.
Five-piece band Newmoon’s debut EP featured post-punk layered in reverb, hinting at Slowdive and bands like The Pains of Being Pure at Heart.
