Experience three unique listening sessions: American-French sound artist NEXCYIA brings together his found sounds into immersive sonic landscapes, Dutch composer, producer and member of Jespfur’s live band Fallwood returns with his first live set in six years, and Nico Non-Fiction makes his live debut with a full-fledged introduction to the world of audio collage.
NEXCYIA
NEXCYIA is the musical pseudonym of Adam Dove, a French-American sound artist and experimental ambient musician. NEXCYIA’s compositions combine immersive sound design and layered soundscapes, using elements such as noise, granular synthesis, found sounds and rhythms. His sound moves through a variety of moods and emotions. With a method that revolves around layering and manipulating archive audio from home videos and the far reaches of the internet, he creates ever-evolving pieces that take you on a mesmerizing sonic journey.
Fallwood
Dutch composer, producer, and close collaborator with Jespfur, Fallwood returns with his first live set in six years. He develops both live loops, as heard on productions for Ken Car$on, and live soundscapes, as he collaborated on Weak Moves – Geodesic.
Nico Non-Fiction
Nico non-fiction is an audio collage artist and sound designer based in Antarctica. He has so far garnered praise from exactly no one.
