MMF Festivalcafé w/ Carmen Villain

Over the course of five days, Muziekgebouw and BIMHUIS will be dedicated to minimal music in its broadest sense: from pioneers Steve Reich and Philip Glass to today’s makers. As such, Minimal Music Festival 2023 celebrates the power of repetition. Repetition that never stays the same, that changes itself and brings about change. Hope illuminated in dark times.

We’ve got the chance to invite two artists we love for a special performance on the Foyerdeck, on the opening day of the festival. On the early Friday evening: the atmospheric and meandering tapestries of Carmen Villain, moving between dubby lows and soaring highs.
