The Wellington based Mermaidens are a well-oiled psych-rock / post-punk trio, drawing influence from PJ Harvey, Warpaint and Fugazi – to name a few. Just like their predecessors, Mermaidens’ fuzzy guitar passages and muddy basslines carry a disorientating effect. How to see through all the fog?
