Mazey Haze

Intuition and instinct are the biggest advisors for Mazey Haze when writing and producing. Each song feels like a world of its own, with detailed arrangements and intuitive songwriting.

Her sound is deeply influenced by the music of the 60s, 70s and 80s. Artists such as Françoise Hardy, Armando Trovajoli, The Beach Boys, Moroder and Donny Hathaway are some of her many musical inspirations. Nostalgia drips from her songs by combining older sounds with timeless themes such as loneliness, cynicism and vulnerability.

Mazey Haze has played at festivals such as The Great Escape and Eurosonic, and has been able to provide the opening act of a.o. Paolo Nutini, Feng Suave and Corinne Bailey Rae. Now her third EP is ready for release, and the result is again closer to what she feels and believes deep inside.
