On Sunday, April 2nd, Volkshotel will be transformed into a music temple with concerts by up-and-coming bands and live acts across 9 floors. EKKO, Patronaat, Cinetol, GRAP and Broedplaats VKG have collaborated to curate a program that will move you in many ways.
A ticket gives you all-access to see the concerts and the context program. Over 14 live shows and a merch, vinyl and memorabilia market on hotel floors will be available. Subbacultcha and We Are Public members get free entrance (limited spots available).

Cinetol is a forward-pushing venue for live music in the south of Amsterdam. Their DIY-mentality results in a cutting-edge and underground programme. They’re also a breeding ground for upcoming talent and the acts that play there are often later seen on bigger stages, such as Paradiso, ESNS and Lowlands.

GRAP was founded in 1983 as a pop collective. Every year they organise events such as competitions, showcases and festivals throughout the city, providing Amsterdam bands and acts the opportunity to present themselves to a wider public, media and the music industry.

In the back wing of Volkshotel, you can find Broedplaats VKG. This cultural hub is the place for experiments and the workspace of notable creative minds and talent, including fashion designers, photographers and of course musicians.
