Le Mini Who?

Le Mini Who? is here for yet another year and we are back at our favourite spot in town: Kapitaal. Get ready to check some of the freshest bands and artists around with us. This year our bill includes Dokkum’s finest Yuko Yuko, Nijmegen-based shoegazers Mountain States and Amsterdam duo Nancy Acid. Yuko Yuko is a bedroom lo-fi synth project that gets deep into non-borrowed nostalgia, Mountain States’ play beautiful shoegaze-pop reminiscent of masters of hazy music such as Galaxie 500, while Nancy Acid are a duo who harness primitive noise-infused garage that will melt your brain down.

We will also feature art by some of our favourite local artists. This year the November featured artist Kazuma Eekman will exhibit some of his amazing drawings. We will also step into the future courtesy of this past summer’s residents, Gerda Postma & Piet Langeveld. And just for this occasion, artist Jip Piet – of banana bag and banana membership card fame – will venture into Kapitaal’s graphic workspace to provide us with something really special.
