Krista Papista

We’re excited to announce that Krista Papista will be performing at Goethe Instituut in Amsterdam on December 7th.

Born in Nicosia, and based in Berlin, Krista Papista’s current work engages in developing and queering, politically induced, reinvented versions of history. She explores the way in which the manifestation of contemporary Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Balkan folklore and computerised, punk music, can act as subversive counterpoints to homogeneous, nationalist narratives.
