glimpse is a new platform where audio-visual artists + sound artists/musicians collaborate and experiment during live events in Amsterdam. During glimpse a musician is paired up with a visual artist for a live multimedia performance in an intimate setting in front of a live audience.
with:
Yon Eta & Antonija Vuletić (live)
Yon Eta’s music floats between experimental pop and cinematic soundscapes. The Amsterdam based artist is strongly influenced by the energy of contemporary club music and explores themes of nostalgia, dreams and anxiety. In 2021 he released the mini album Take Me 2 The Feeling, accompanied by a videoclip for the song Eclipse. Besides his solo work, Yon Eta presents sound-installations in museums and writes scores for films and dance-performances. In recent years he has performed at Sonic Acts Festival, TodaysArt Festival, Rewire Festival, The Long Progress Bar Festival (UK) and Yaga Gathering (LT).
Antonija Vuletić (@ton.xoxo) is an audio-visual artist creating dreamscapes through moving image, sound, and live visuals. She works with fragments of self-shot footage, graphic elements, and layered textures, creating non-linear compositions shaped by sounds and atmosphere. Born in Zagreb, she is currently based in Amsterdam.
Benjamim Furtado & Tharim Cornelisse (live)
Tharim Cornelisse is a digital artist based in Amsterdam. With a focus on generative design, CGI, and real-time visuals his work tries to translate abstract things into comprehensible feelings. His work is intertwined with electronic music and nightlife, and often takes the shape of collaborative A/V performances and moving image projects.
Benjamim Furtado (Lisbon, 1998) explores the rhythms and traces of pedestrian life. His work brings together different types of sonic and visual materialities while thematically and formally approaching the architectural. In his most recent body of work Façade (This one is a cover…) Furtado takes on the role of a lonely narrator living in a shared apartment. Phonetic explorations and sample based music coalesce with textual reflections on acoustics, memory, and the theatricality of the everyday.
umanea is a DJ and marine biology student based in Amsterdam and raised in Sarajevo. Her background in earth systems and coral reef ecology informs her process — drawn to patterns, transitions, and emotional undercurrents. Her sets explore contrasts: moments of stillness stretched against swelling textures, emotional build-ups that break into catharsis. For this event, she opens and closes the night with two sets that frame the two live acts, ranging from trancey ambient to 2010s inspired witchhouse and electroclash.
