Front Row presents: Naomi Velissariou – Permanent Destruction – The HM Concert

18 May - De Paardenkathedraal, Utrecht
20.30 - €17 - Free for members

We Are Public’s Front Row invites you to the boundary-challenging premier of Naomi Velissariou latest: Permanent Destruction – The HM Concert. Naomi’s performance is uncompromising, sexy and melodramatic – dragging you through worlds you never knew you desired in the first place. Intense from start to finish, feeling like getting completely hammered. In the midst of all the chaos, it’s very clear that Naomi isn’t screaming only to be loud and abrasive. She displays how misogyny, sexism and destructive behavior are blatantly accepted, as long as it’s Instagram-worthy or if it’s cemented in a pounding beat. Music by producer Joost Maaskant, passages inpired by en based on the work of playwright Heiner Müller en visual work of artist Jan Hoek.

Living in Amsterdam? Since the performance takes place in Utrecht, there will be a ‘Permanent Destruction Bus’ taking us safely to and from the location. Departing from Piarcoplein, Amsterdam Sloterdijk (where the FlixBusses normally leave), at 19.30. Bus trip is included in the price of the ticket or free for Subbacultcha members.

To secure a spot please reserve a free ticket and don’t forget to bring your Subbacultcha pass when attending the show!

Front row is the ongoing cultural experiment by We Are Public.
