Freak Heat Waves

Electrifying and unpredictable, Canadian duo Freak Heat Waves brings their heat over to Cinetol on the 5th of November as part of their Europe tour.

Since their 2012 self-titled debut, Freak Heat Waves have established themselves as an ever-changing musical force within post-punk, psych, dub, ambient, house, and techno. The Canadian duo of Steve Lind and Thomas Di Ninno have delivered their most seductive work to date with their latest LP Mondo Tempo (2023), a heady cocktail that seamlessly blends elements of their diverse musical influences. Their work bears reminders to the likes of Black Dice or Gary Numan, Can of Tones on Tail, Seefeel or Brian Eno.
