FIBER Festival: Whatever The Weather (Live), Bapari (Live) [full]

28 May - De Brakke Grond, Amsterdam
€17,50-22

The festival’s second concert night will take place in the main theater at De Brakke Grond and features two distinct artists who experiment with vocals, live instrumentation, pop aesthetics, and sonic vulnerability, shaping immersive and intimate atmospheres.

Presenting their newest upcoming album on Halcyon Veil, the festival welcomes Haitian-American Bapari, who fuses a range of genres, from shoegaze to trip hop to electronics. They contributed to the latest FKA Twigs album Eusexua, and are now touring and playing a brand new show.

Under her ambient-adjacent alias, Whatever The Weather, Loraine James moves beyond percussive club music into textural, impressionistic, and inward sound explorations. She returns to FIBER after the release of Whatever The Weather II, which has a unique organic and human quality, while processed through a variety of digital and analogue methods.

The people at FIBER Festival have kindly offered a limited amount of free tickets for Subbacultcha members. Please make a reservation by sending an email to mailinglist@subbacultcha.nl with ‘FIBER Festival: Whatever The Weather (Live), Bapari (Live)’ in the subject line + your name in the email.
