Ratboys + Biddy Early

Ratboys create warm, guitar-driven indie rock in which influences from power pop, Americana, and alt-country blend effortlessly. On their sixth album, ‘Singin’ to an Empty Chair,’ the Chicago quartet presents eleven songs about alienation, therapy, and the desire to have an impossible conversation. The album was recorded in a remote cabin in Wisconsin and is their most ambitious and personal work to date. Expect a show full of sharp guitars and songs that make you feel like someone is articulating exactly what you yourself could never have put into words.

Biddy Early puts a humorous twist on the awkwardness of modern existence with their energetic, catchy alt-pop. Named after the Irish witch of the same name, the quartet brews an irresistible mix of relatable situations wrapped in fuzzy guitars. The ingredients? Self-mockery, a touch of folk, and a healthy dose of rattling indie noise.
