On May 16th, Garage Noord runs full sonic madness across two floors all night long. As DJ Marcelle entrances the ground floor dancers, upstairs LAMSI’s stacked selection of Amsterdam’s finest DJs run wild at Bar40 — this is a night you won’t want to miss.

DJ Marcelle is that rare combination of things: fearless, innovative, playful, independent, unpredictable and with a great sense of humour. The singular producer and dj from Amsterdam lives in that rare league of artists who are out there, doing their own thing, continually pushing the boundaries of electronic music and having a great time in doing so as well.

LAMSI

 Amsterdam based DJ and producer LAMSI, blends grime, hip-hop and Afro-Diasporic electronics to create hard hitting boundary pushing beats.

SLIMFIT

Slimfit is an Amsterdam sweetheart and a multidisciplinary artist with Chinese, Surinamese, and Dutch roots. Known for energetic sets, they skillfully weave various sounds into a seamlessly blended stream. From rhythmic hard drum to emotional techno and hardcore, post-club and GQOM to Neo Perreo and Kuduro, their sets transcend cultural boundaries, challenging colonial borders and nations. Consistently encouraging the crowd to move, Slimfit serves as an antidote to any static ways of being.

ANGELBOY

angelboy (they/she) is an Amsterdam DJ and producer known for upbeat, body-focused sets that fluidly blend genres like glitchy techno, bouncy hardgroove, electro, and psychedelic trance, with a sprinkling of South American rhythms – all bound by a sensuality that gets the hips moving.

NIVEK

DJ & producer NIVEK, explores pan-African rhythms and experimental electronics, crafting unique sonic blends.
