corecore06 unfolds with three live acts. Join us for an evening at Cinetol presenting the all-round hoarders of spullen, the laptop slowcore of Multiple People and the paranoiac pop of Mori Mori. 

Mori Mori (LV)

Mori Mori is the project of Latvian born musician and artist Glebs Pridbailo. His latest record BB Void (Xpone, 2024) unfolds as a shadowy counterpart to pop — raw, muddy, yet emotionally rich and direct. Leeching off the quintessential ideas of pop, such as its approach to lyricism, track composition and the frequent genre-message of portraying an ideal, perfect, care-free world, Mori takes these ideas, completely inverting and twisting them, creating a paranoiac doppelganger. Often doing so through dictaphone-like vocal processing, heavily distorted guitar chords and overdriven beats.

Multiple People (US) 

You are Multiple People. This passage will rewrite itself to remind you. A multimedia project from Los Angeles can become a river to follow, if you step in. Genre descriptors like laptop slowcore, rehabilitative ambient, and jumpcut isolationism only see the surface. You’re never carried by a single depiction, just to where they go. It’s the one thing we hope you know. I am here with you.”

Half French, half Dutch quartet that is looking for meaning in the clutter of sound they encounter; to create music that belongs to everyone. While combining electronic instruments, electric guitars & classical vocals the group draws inspiration from minimal synth, no wave, opera and dub. Hoarders never lose anything, so embrace the noise of your surroundings.
