Cindy Lee + Latin Lovers

Cindy Lee is the alter ego of Patrick Flegel – the former captain of the now defunct art rock-outfit Women. Flegel sees Cindy Lee as a diva fantasy – making room for the change he needed. The music is confrontational and heart-wrenching, touching abstract as well as conventional territory. Harsh noise and distortion take turns from delicate guitar solo’s and pop classicism. Flegel couldn’t have summarized this dynamic any better himself: “That’s just my nature: all or nothing extremes”. Amsterdam’s own post-ironic psycho-rock band Latin Lovers join the bill, only contributing to the intensity.
