There’s a detached iciness to Blue Hawaii’s music – even the name conjures images of a wintery, melancholic paradise – that’s born of harsh Canadian winters and feeling adrift in one’s twenties. Raphaelle Standall-Preston may be better known as one third of Braids, but this is no whimsical side-project; released by legendary Montreal label Arbutus Records, the criminally underrated Untogether’s glitchy beats and chopped’n’screwed vocals showcase her deep love of Aphex Twin and lull you into quiet retrospection.

Australian-via-Amsterdam electronic artist Leure will join the bill with her sultry songs. Her music feels close to all the new wave of alternative R&B artists but with a more avant-garde focus. Be punctual, she’s not the one you want to miss.
