On their debut album and upcoming EP Living is Easy, both released on The Flenser, the band explores feelings of ‘ecstatic joy’ through the means of extreme music. To Agriculture, it has the ability to “be a powerful mode of expression for these feelings of absolute bliss, overwhelming love, and awe-inspiring sublimity.” Turn your volume up a notch, have a listen and see you in the OCCII for soaring tremolo picking, everlasting blast beats, tear-jerking atmospheric passages and celebratory screams. The Utrecht-based post-metal quartet Ontaard will open the evening with their “lush and tear jerking sound”. Vast, loud and tremendously personal. Farewell summer!
