Félicia Atkinson + Circular Ruins

Entrée Électrique & Subbacultcha present: Félicia Atkinson in Het Concertgebouw. That’s a lot of acute accents. We think Félicia needs no introduction. The poet and musician who summons quiet but potent energies. She employs sound and word to clothe the walls and thicken the air in structures without fundament or ceiling. Acoustic instruments, electronics, ASMR-like vocals and field recordings find their place in the portrait, but never sit still. Félicia’s music constructs atmosphere, but always has a great sense of purpose. A magical approach to the everyday, showing its perpetual movement.

Entrée Électrique is a new series by Entrée – the youth organisation of Het Concertgebouw & Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra – which explores contemporary electronic live music in the beautiful Kleine Zaal of Het Concertgebouw.
