Subbacultcha’s Highlights of FIBER Festival 2026
Features // Festival // NewsOn the first summer days where the nights turn fluttering, light, warm and nebulous, the multidisciplinary FIBER Festival returns to
Spend the night in the Oude Kerk. The total length of the soundtrack for Poems for Earthlings – a comprehensive and site-specific installation by the Argentinian artist Adrián Villar Rojas – lasts 8 (!) hours. To get a hang of it you’re invited to visit the Oude Kerk repeatedly, at different times. Well, now’s the chance to take it all in (optionally while in a dream state) and spend the night in the Oude Kerk. Sleep over in Rojas‘ deeply engaging environment and experience the installation + the Oude Kerk in an extraordinary way.
On July 2, 30 people are welcomed to roll out their mats and sleeping bags and have a sleepover in the oldest church (and building) of Amsterdam. We are giving 1 x 2 tickets to our members. What to do? Shoot us a mail at mailinglist@subbacultcha.nl with ‘Oude Kerk’ in the subject line + your name in the body text before Monday, June 29. We’ll announce the lucky slumbers on Tuesday, the 30th of June.
This give-away is for Subbacultcha members, only. Not a Subbacultcha member yet? sign up here.
