Advanced simulation technologies, algorithms and AI systems vastly developing in our present-day world propel human activity into alien terrain and dimensions. At the same time, with the imminent impact of the climate crisis, humans, step by step, come to terms with the necessity of reconnecting and changing their relation with other living and non-living beings. Sensing Beyond | Beyond Sensing – Performing the Space Between Human and Alien , is an interdisciplinary event merging music, design, audiovisual art and advanced technologies. Through those means it aims for constructing new ways of sensing, building and knowing the world. The full-packed programme includes a conference, installations and audiovisual premiers (among others).
