Open Day KABK

Saturday, 28 January
10.00 - 16.00
Royal Academy of Art, The Hague

Thinking about getting involved in the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague (KABK) and want to learn more about it? Get your answers to whatever questions you might have at The Open Day on Saturday, 28 January.

The Open Day gives you the chance to meet tutors, staff, current students as well as alumni, giving you the opportunity to get to the bottom of what studying at the Royal Academy of The Hague is really like. Over the years we’ve been lavished with incredible artists, illustrators and photographers alike, administering beautiful artwork to our magazine and online content. We’ve had the pleasure to work with many artists, from the alluring imagery of Lonneke van der Palen to entering the world of Jip Piet in the wrapping paper project, and let’s not forget about the Banana tote-bag he designed for us. These are just a couple of names out of the countless artists KABK has prepped and given rise to, for which we are forever grateful.

Find out everything you need to know about the various programmes on offer, from a Bachelor in Art and Design to postgraduate course of Industrial Design. Here’s your chance to visit the studios, workshop facilities, and attend a full day’s programme of exhibitions, lectures, tours, unique lessons, and much more. They’ve made a beautiful video for the occasion, which you can check out below. For more information, check the full program of the Open Day 2017.
