Visible Cloaks & dip in the pool – Valve/Valve (Revisited)

In speaking about the two Visible Cloaks’ volumes of Fairlights, Mallets and Bamboo, Michael Klausman (Other Music) put it like this: ‘a weird zone where corporate Japanese ambient music meets fourth world pop abstraction’. Just the other day, word from the good people at RVNG reached us of a new release – Valve/Valve (Revisited) – a beautiful collaboration between Visible Cloaks and Japanese duo dip in the pool, made up of Miyako Koda and Tatsuji Kim.

‘Valve’ features Miyako Koda, deciphering spoken word from her solo album Jupiter into a reflective, digital expedition. ‘Valve (Revisited)’  is a reawakened sonic shindig between Visible Cloaks & Koda’s distinct vocals at the side of Kim’s heightened melodies. Visually embellished by Brenna Murphy, aural meets ocular in a delicate, conceptual climate in the video below. Please enjoy.
