Bing & Ruth – Rails

The alliance between RVNG and Bing & Ruth sprung from an accidental introduction of City Lake almost five years ago, the LP mistakenly but fortunately handed off as unmarked test pressing by the shared vinyl manufacturer. An inevitable course of events began when the LP kept reappearing, setting in motion the remastering of Bing & Ruth’s debut. Orchestrated by David Moore, City Lake consisted of eleven members on the various instruments responsible for the beautifully classical and ambient end result. Vigilant and intuitive remastering supplementary with bonus tracks ornament the second pressing of City Lake, which is to be released as a limited edition double LP on November 13th via RVNG Intl. Guided by Moore’s aerial piano inflection, ‘Rails’ is a stunning sampling of Bing & Ruth’s delicate ambiance.
