corecore w/ $quib + Chris Olsen

corecore returns to Cinetol with a live double bill featuring New York-based musicians $quib and Chris Olsen.

$quib

Following the recent release of their new album Erring , which came out in June of this year via the label Halcyon Veil, $quib presents a performance featuring tracks from the record: a dizzying and addictive ride that brings together pop sensibilities, glitchy electronics, jazzy twists, and internet-like oddities.

‍Chris Olsen
‍Chris Olsen draws inspiration from both 1960s folk and contemporary experimentation. His live performance explores various approaches to singer-songwriter music, incorporating karaoke, a cappella, computer improvisation, and acoustic guitar.

corecore
‍corecore is a network for contemporary electronic and “online” music that organizes URL and IRL events in Amsterdam and beyond.

The people at corecore have kindly offered a limited amount of free tickets for Subbacultcha members. Please make a reservation by sending an email to mailinglist@subbacultcha.nl with ‘ $quib + Chris Olsen’ in the subject line + your name in the email.
