3x2 tickets
Philip Glass Ensemble: Koyaanisqatsi
Friday, 19 August, Heineken Music Hall, Amsterdam

On Friday, 19 August, Philip Glass and the Philip Glass Ensemble come to Amsterdam’s Heineken Music Hall for a unique live performance.

American composer Philip Glass is one of the most influential, broad-spectrum musicians of the late twentieth-century, often credited for his multifarious film scores and early take on minimalist as well as classicist compositions. Since establishing the Philip Glass Ensemble, Glass has performed to world-wide audiences, joining in on keyboards.

Koyaanisqatsi: Life Out of Balance, is a 1982 American experimental film directed by Godfrey Reggio with music composed by Philip Glass. Considered today as a cult film, it is relevant as much today, if not more, it was during the time of its release. On Friday, 19 August, Amsterdam’s Heineken Music Hall brings the experience to audiences, transforming into an enormous theater, elevated by a unique live performance by the Philip Glass Ensemble.

For this special occasion, we’re giving away 3 pairs of tickets to new member signups. The tickets are limited, and we follow the first come, first served basis. To become a member, join Subbacultcha here.
