Hey Members, keen on going to the Naked Song festival?
This year Van Abbe Museum celebrates its’ 80th anniversary by staying open for 80 hours straight between the 14-17 April.
On Saturday 16, the museum holds its 8th Young Art Night, celebrating from 21.00 – 04.00. With plenty to discover, we don’t want to give it all away; what we can promise you, however, is fascinating visuals and the promise of the ultimate The Cure experience amidst a glittery glam vibe of the 1980’s.
Coinciding with the 80th anniversary celebrations 14 – 17 April, the Van Abbemuseum’s main art exhibition this season, The 1980s. Today’s Beginnings?, is opened on 16 April at 3pm, well on time before the Young Art Night. The group show focuses on European countercultures in the 80’s, reflecting on the impact of the transformative decade on today’s society.
Together with The Young Art Crowd, we are giving our new subscribers the chance to join in on the festivities at the Van Abbemuseum. The first five to join Subbacultcha will win double passes to the Young Art Night on 16 April as well as a Young Art Crowd membership.
