Brought forth by the European League of Institutes of the Arts (ELIA), NEW NOW is an independent network organisation for higher art education. Taking a group of 65 emerging artists under its supportive wing, NEW NOW 2015 brings exhibitions, films, music, talks and workshops to Amsterdam’s iconic culture park in a five day exhibition. The spectacle presents the works of art academy students worldwide in the midst of their climb toward professional careers.

You don’t have to be an artisan to get in on some of the action – creative workshops are an invitation to open that imaginative splinter somewhere in your cerebral sphere. In between exploring the kinship between music and rituals through the sounds of Miradas Cruzadas (FR) or cryptic wonders such as The Rite Machine, a kinetic installation combining video arts, original and inventive musical instruments and performances by Osmo Nadir (PL), the festival presents artists of enough disciplines to pick and choose from for all.
