Adam Lempel – Nightlife

We met Baltimore artist Adam Lempel recently right here in Amsterdam, where he’s studying Composition. When he sent us a link to his new video we were pleasently surprised to learn that besides writing classical compositions, and his previous experience with rock band WEEKENDS, Lempel also doesn’t shy away from electro pop. Good for him. And us. His new solo record Adam Lempel and the Casiobeats will be out this month on Friends Records. It’s an incredibly catchy reinterpretation of everyone’s childhood soundtrack but still manages to sound contemporary; there you have an instant office favourite. Here’s hoping Lempel can get some local kids together to play this live and come dancing with us.
