The underlying question that Canepa poses is, how can we give new meanings to a space?
We’re back this October with an exhibition by photographer Adriana Bogdanova (1981). On display will be the Nocturnes, a beautifully dark series where the photographic subject is obscured, as the photographer makes a play on the treacherous nature of monochromes.
Bogdanova graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and though her work is based in photography, her series tend to move between collage, installation and experiment. Her subjects are often things of the natural world such as animals and plants. Bogdanova chooses with care and explores with precision, resulting in the subtle and refined beauty that ties through her work.
The exhibition opening is on October 17, from 18.00 till 21.00 pm. There will be some snacks and drinks. Beer will be specially provided by Warsteiner. The opening is RSVP only. Want to join? Please send us an e-mail.
