Petite Noir is the moniker of 22-year old Yannick Ilunga, a Brussels-born singer-songwriter of Congolese/Angolan descent. Natural, melodic African elements shimmer in his groovy and experimental soundscapes, which Ilunga himself has coined, ‘noir wave’. If you missed him at STRP last Saturday, fear not, he’s still around and will be performing at Where The Wild Things Are tomorrow, 8 March.
