Solids – Haze Away

Whether completely intentional or not, the Montreal duo picked probably the best fit name for themselves that they ever could have. The heavy melodies are solid as a(n indie) rock, and we applaud them for parceling so much sound with so few members. Getting in the mood for tomorrow’s sonic ruptures, here’s a taste from Blame Confusion (Fat Possum Records and Die Alone Records) of what to expect. Solids will be kicking off their tour tomorrow evening at Sugarfactory along with Belgium’s The Scrap Dealers.
