Exploring one of the, if not the greatest challenge of our time, This Changes Everything is the documentary film directed by Avi Lewis, inspired by activist, author, and filmmaker Naomi Klein’s non-fiction bestseller of the same title. The reflective film is one of this year’s top documentaries, drawing out seven strong portraits of areas in the world and the various effects of climate change. Executive producers of the confrontational film include Alfonso Cuarón, Danny Glover, Seth MacFarlane and Shepard Fairey. The special open-air screening of the film dealing with the struggle between capitalism and the climate will take place on the open field on the Petroleumweg, behind the Hemwegcentrale. Bring your own snacks, drinks and blankets to sit on and your resourceful minds for a positive change.
