An evening filled with two immensely talented solo-artists, both reconfiguring the idea of conventional instrumental music in the utmost way. Eliza McCarthy is a pianist, whose last year’s collaboration with avant-pop composer Mica Levi gave rise to blissful EP ‘Slow Dark Green Murky Waterfall’. The music plays exactly as the title implies, painting an elegant, blunt landscape of sounds. Following McCarthy is Eli Keszler, a multi-disciplinary artist and musician whose percussion manages to encompass electronics, avant-jazz and drum-funk influences. With his most recent album ‘Stadium’, being a musical streetscape of Manhattan, Keszler bridges the digital and classical texture of music. Mark your calendars for this one!
