Minding the Gap

Coming of age documentary ‘Minding the Gap’ chronicles three young men being forced into adulthood in a rapid pace. Director Bing Liu documents his and his skateboarder friends turbulent upbringings in Rockford, Illinois, using over a decade of documentary footage. A raw take on masculinity, adolescence and responsibility, resonating far beyond the three protagonists.
