18 December - Concertgebouw, Amsterdam
13.30 - €12,50 - Free for members

From 16 to 18 December, Concertgebouw affixes another dimension to their space and present Aural Spaces.

“Equipped and spatially structured for optimal sonic immersion, the Recital Hall already applies classical acoustic methods to make the music resonate as unfiltered as possible. At least, that’s what’s believed until now. In collaboration with 4DSOUND, modern technology will blur the boundaries between space and sound more than ever before, in a captivating sonic experience rarely witnessed before.” Find your way through all dizzying concerts, lessons and listening session Aural Spaces has to offer here. For a select part of the program, there are limited free tickets for Subbacultcha members. Find those here.

During the listening sessions of Aural Spaces, you will presented music especially created for the 4DSOUND system. The compositions explore space, movement and architecture. And in your turn, you’re invited to explore every corner, position and motion. In this session, you’ll hear exclusive spatialized work by the ambient, industrial and noise artist Puce Mary. The session will open with a short piece of Salvador Breed, whom one might know for his work with Iris van Herpen.

Please note: you will be showcased a piece, that’s pre-written and recorded.

For this event, there are limited free spots for Subbacultcha members. Members can get their free spot by sending an email to mailinglist@subbacultcha.nl with ‘Puce Mary’ in the subject line. First come, first served! Non-members can sign up here or purchase a ticket here.
