Subbacultcha and Hothead Radio present: Jawnino (live) + BBBwithluv

On this late summer evening, Hothead Radio & Subbacultcha will present Jawnino, live in Garage Noord.

The London rapper’s mysterious airbrushed and highly saturated covers are just a taste of the sedative-hypnotic substances that his tracks cover. But this is only a part of a bigger picture Jawnino is trying to sketch. He (re-)presents UK’s working class with his lyrical realism. Taking you on walks through the not-so-romantic concrete and stained London streets. Instead of creating illusions, Jawnino just tells the listener how he see things. This blunt honesty is in a world like today’s rather rare.

On August 22nd, he will take Garage’s stage in all its jungle and grime.
