Hunx And His Punx

When he’s in his Clark Kent mode, Oakland’s Seth Bogart dresses hair at a salon called Down at Lulu’s, which he co-owns with a band member.  But when there’s rock ’n’ roll mischief to be had, he pops into the nearest photo booth or peep show only to emerge as his alter ego, Hunx, the flamboyantly gay frontman of a girl group specialising in ’50s-inspired bubblegum pop punk. Hunx’s homoerotic and hilariously bratty persona gives the girl group sound a fun and campy twist, and his ability to conjure up touching tales of heartbreak and nostalgia keeps increasing.
