Film: Body Talk

Body Talk draws attention to filmmakers whose work focuses on the human body. Art Cinema OFFoff will screen films by Stephen Dwoskin and Warren Sonbert. Dwoskin’s works are related to a performance in which the performer seduces the camera and viewer.

Sonbert’s Amphetamine incorporates the human body differently in his work. The film offers a view into the sexual and narcotic experiments of a group of friends. When the movie was shot, Sonberg was only eighteen years old. Since the human body is a topic favored by many artist, which has led to different and interesting approaches.
