klub krai presents an event trilogy: 3 events, 3 locations, 3 timeframes

For the second edition in the trilogy of listening sessions, klub krai presents an evening, flowing into night, featuring DJ sets by Servicekit, Macrosoft and DJH and a live performance by Rat Section.
This edition takes place within ISO Amsterdam’s warehouse, expect a fresh take, opening up new possibilities within the space.

Rat Section
Rat Section is a music and performance project currently based in London that treats choreography, set design, and the specific qualities of each space as integral parts of every show. Their work moves between experimental electronic, pop, spoken word and club music, constructing a mythology that deliberately blurs the line between biography and fiction.
Recent shows include: ‘Double Vision’ at Julia Stoschek Foundation Berlin, ‘Press Conference’ at ICA London, ‘Press Conference II’ at Lafayette Anticipations Paris and ‘Back Up vol. II’ at Tanzquartier Vienna; alongside appearances at the Barbican Centre, Volksbühne Berlin, and Tresor Berlin.

 DJH
Across his projects, he has steadily mapped out a unique sonic terrain, weaving intricate synth textures and a sharp instinct for radiant, melancholic melodies with seismic bass and glistening distortion. His restless drive to elevate along genre axes has led to contributions on landmark releases like Playboi Carti’s MUSIC and FKA twigs’ EUSEXUA. Beyond his solo work, spanning more than 4 album, he closely collaborates with an international circle of kindred musicians — including Evilgiane, Suzy Sheer, Eera, umru, and sv1 – and has contributed music to ad campaigns, video games and short films.

 Macrosoft
With a wide experience playing both club and ambient sets across venues in Europe, Macrosoft’s DJ set with us in Amsterdam promises to be memorable. In her set Macrosoft navigates the quiet gaps where subtle noises catch the ear and fractured rhythms pass like weather. Listening close, the smallest sounds open into vast worlds — intimate, unhurried. Drawing from her work as art director for ambient concept label evo-natura, her sets hold both the warmth of touch and the grit of interference.

servicekit
servicekit his a DJ and producer from Munich. His sonic output is infused with a deep digital aesthetic that reflects his love for abstract glitch and early 2000s dance productions. There he combines new forms of pop abstractions with various contemporary club sounds in a playful and experimental way.

What once started as a zine-publication grew into a multidisciplinary platform. klub krai is mostly known for organizing club nights in Amsterdam, sometimes springing out to other cities like Berlin and Copenhagen. klub krai’s musical lineups include names such as Ssaliva, baby ganoush, Bby Eco, Palmistry, Himera, User2222, emeel, Oli XL, Yawning Portal among many others. Our musical curation is based on a vision of wanting to move beyond boundaries of genre and highlight underrepresented experimental electronic acts, often rooted in internet culture, both local and global, live, hybrid and DJ.

Within klub krai events there is an interest in everything that happens in, and on the edge of, the dance floor. Not only do we aim to bring the most interesting possible sonic experience to a club, we also have an eye for the visual aspect, always transforming the club-space into something new, creating dreamy landscapes and comfortable chill zones for hanging out with friends or forming new connections.
