Detente, based in Paris, is known as a prolific composer, producer, and guitarist who has been active in various music scenes for over ten years. His most recent album, Ghosts, was released in 2024 and was followed by multiple EPs and remixes that built upon the same musical period. During a concert, a machine broke down, causing the electronic solo format he had relied on for years to suddenly disappear. He had to play the entire show with just his guitar. That evening marked the beginning of a new direction for his project: Detente Group.
With guitarist Jules Cassignol (Jazz Lambaux) and bassist Sarah Louise Barbett (Userband), Detente returns to the basics and rediscovers the classic dynamics of a live band. The result is a post-rock sound in which loud amplifiers, effect pedals, and guitar riffs create an energetic synergy and intimate interplay between the musicians.
Twin Blade is a French-Belgian alternative pop duo formed by Margot and Stella. The project emerged in 2023 from a lifelong friendship and combines years of shared inspiration, conversations, and musical curiosity into its own artistic vision. With a combination of synthesizers, experimental textures, and hypnotic vocal harmonies, Twin Blade creates a space where intimate songwriting and progressive pop come together. Their music balances vulnerable melodies, adventurous productions, and a strong sense of emotional storytelling. This results in dreamy, compelling soundscapes that manage to capture fleeting emotions in an understated manner.
In late 2024, the duo released their debut EP Lovergirl in a Hater World, a collection of songs about love, loneliness, vulnerability, and the fragile dynamics of human relationships.
