Together with Minimal Music Festival and De school we present a night with live performances by Mohammad Reza Mortazavi, Kate NV and Garland. Mohammad Reza Mortazavi, is an Iranian Tombak and Daf player and composer. His performances truly surpass any expectations one can have for a percussion concert. Championing his craft, the now Berlin based virtuoso, sketches a vast network of danceable and upbeat rhythms. Kate NV, manages to paint a sonic sound arrangement with every track she lays down, by drawing influence from 1980s Japanese pop and musique concrète (among others). The intoxicating two-piece Garland, consisting of Phillip Jondo and Simon Weins, creates an electroacoustic trip full of slow percussion and slowly dripping bass lines. Tokyo nightingale Sapphire Slows and Amsterdam’s Philip Jondo will prolong the night with two dj-sets.
